Simpson College students will stay “Up ‘til Dawn” to raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
The campus-wide philanthropy event will take place Oct. 30 from 5 to 10 p.m. Students, in teams, will write letters encouraging friends and family to give money to the hospital. The event is in its second year at Simpson. Last year, the campus raised approximately $38,000.
About 250 colleges and universities participate in Up ‘til Dawn. So far, the program has raised more than $16.1 million dollars for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. St. Jude's Children’s Hospital treats children with cancer and other serious illnesses, regardless of their families’ ability to pay.
