Faculty guitarist performs

Aaron Powell, faculty guitarist, will perform at Simpson College at 7 p.m. at Lekberg Hall.
His recital will include works by Alonso Mudarra, Gaspar Sanz, Luigi Boccherini, Fernando Sor, and Franscisco Tarrega.
Powell obtained a Master of Music in guitar performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He has been at Simpson for seven years as guitar instructor.
Outside of Simpson, Powell has been a part of the Des Moines Metro Opera, Des Moines Playhouse and the Des Moines Symphony Orchestra. He has also performed at many church and school functions.
