Farnham Galleries feature designer

The Farnham Galleries will feature work by graphic designer John Bowers from March 16 to March 31.
Bowers is a designer from Madison, Wis., who teaches at The Art Institute of Chicago. His work in 2-D and 3-D design offers an opportunity to study contemporary design approaches.

Additionally, Bowers will give a lecture based on his recent book, “Introduction to Two-Dimensional Design: Understanding Form and Function,” March 30 at 7 p.m. in Jordan Lecture Hall. A reception for the artist will be held before the lecture from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Farnham Galleries.
Farnham Galleries are located on the third floor of Mary Berry Hall with hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or by appointment.
