Art professor presents on design

John Bowers, professor of art and Design Department Chair at the Art Institute of Chicago, will give a lecture based on his recent book, “Introduction to Two-Dimensional Design: Understanding Form and Function.”
The lecture will take place March 30 at 7 p.m. in Jordan Lecture Hall.
Bowers’ work will be on display at the Farnham Galleries at Simpson through March 31. The Farnham Galleries are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A reception for the artist will be held before the lecture March 30 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Farnham Galleries.
