Author Jennifer Anne Moses will be reading from her memoir, “Bagels and Grits: A Jew on the Bayou,” March 20 at 7 p.m. in Jordan Lecture Hall.

The humorous and provocative book describes Moses’ spiritual journey as a Jewish woman as she moves from Washington D.C. to the largely Christian Baton Rogue. The book also tackles the emotions Moses experiences as she watches her mother cope with chemotherapy and cancer.
