Storm women ranked sixth in national poll

The Simpson College women’s basketball team (17-1, 9-0 IIAC) moved up one spot to sixth in the USA Today ESPN Division III Top 25 Coaches’ Poll. The No. 6 ranking for the Storm is the highest for Simpson since the week of Jan. 27, 2000 when the Storm were ranked second.

Simpson is ranked eighth in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll, which was released on Monday.

The Storm resume action Saturday when they host Dubuque in a 2 p.m. match up.
