The Madrigal Singers were the core group of a May term tour to Spain in May, 2005 and to England in May, 2007.  The group had several opportunities to perform in various locations on the tour.  The Madrigal Singers will be on their annual winter tour in January, 2009.

A special event for the Madrigal Singers was the presentation of Menotti's The Unicorn, The Gorgon and the Manticore with dancers and orchestra in the spring of 2008.

The Simpson College Jazz Band performs at various concerts and events on campus throughout the year.  In January, 2009, the will again host the Nostalgia Dance, an evening of dancing to music from the Big Band Era.

The Simpson College Choir maintains an active schedule of performing throughout the school year, starting with the Fall Convocation in the first week of classes and ending with commencement in May.  The College Choir will tour Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota in the spring of 2009.
