Kwanzaa

Kwanzaa was created by Ron Karenga and was first celebrated from December 26, 1966

to January 1, 1967. It is a week long celebration held in the United States honoring universal

African heritage and culture, and continues to be from December 26 to January 1 each year.

We come together at the end of the year and celebrate a (hopefully) successful year.

Walter brings the candles and stories to share.

Salsa Dance

One of our most popular event is the Salsa Night. Students from Latin America and also American students with Salsa in their blood share their salsa dancing moves.
