The goal of the Mathematics Department is to help every student develop the mathematical tools necessary to achieve their career goals. We do this by building a community of learners of our students and our mathematics faculty and by building interdisciplinary relationships with our partner disciplines. Our students benefit from innovative teaching techniques and the use of technology. Out-of-classroom opportunities give our students a competitive edge after graduation in the job market or graduate school. We encourage our students to engage in interdisciplinary study with other departments on campus such as Biology, Computer Science, Education, Economics and Philosophy.
| A schedule of departmental events for 2007-2008 can be found on the Math Club page. |
