- Pi Mu Epsilong Regional Undergraduate Mathematics Conference - Friday and Saturday, November 3 and 4. Trip to St. Norbert COllege in De Pere, Wisconsin.
- Putnam Competition - Saturday, December 1. This national competition is administered by the Mathematical Association of America, but you take the exam here at Simpson. For more information, refer to http://math.scu.edu/putnam.
- Mathematics Day - Saturday, December 1. Meet mathematics alumni and hear about how they are using the math majors in the work place.
- Decorate Carver Science Center for the holidays - early December.
- Math and Science Day for thrid and fourth grade girls - Saturday, January 19.
- Mathematical Contest in Modeling (MCM) and Interdisciplinary Conttest in Modeling (ICM) - first weekend in February. For many years now, this international contest has been a rewarding and memorable experience for our math students.
- Midwest Undergraduate Mathematics Symposium (MUMS) - Friday and Saturday, April 4 and 5. Regional mathematics symposium hosted by Simpson College.
- Annual meeting of the Iowa Section of the Mathematical Association of America, Friday and Saturday, April 25 and 26.
