  • We held elections at our meeting tonight. Lynnette (me) was elected President, Tracy Robson was elected Vice President, and Michelle Lingscheit was elected Secretary.
  • We selected Monday at 7:00 to be our new meeting time. Our next meeting will be October 1st in Carver 34 Tracy will email out around the meeting time.
  • Tonight we discussed a couple other things.
    • First, we talked about starting a chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon (an Honorary National Mathematics Society). The process will probably take quite some time but hopefully by the end of the year our chapter will be open. More information about Pi Mu Epsilon will be out later.
    • Second, we talked about parties. Homecoming Weekend (October 6th) we will be having a get together at Spellerberg's - Math Club may be decorating prior to the party (fun stuff!), also alumni will be there - good networking opportunity! We also talked about the possibility of a game night (football, Frisbee, DDR, set, cards...other fun games) we will make plans for that at the next meeting.
  • So be in 340 at 7:00 on October 1st or you will miss out!
