Simpson to participate in Iowa Private College Week Aug. 7-11

Simpson to be one of 29 colleges to participate in Iowa Private College Week

Simpson College will participate in Iowa Private College Week Aug. 7-11 to give prospective students and their families an opportunity to see what the college has to offer.

Iowa Private College Week, sponsored by the Iowa Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, provides prospective students and their families a coordinated week-long opportunity to visit 29 non-profit, private college campuses, such as Simpson College. The annual event, which welcomes hundreds of college-seeking students from Iowa and the surrounding states, offers campus tours and informational meetings specifically designed to assist students in matching their skills and interests with a higher education experience that best corresponds to their needs and goals.

During Iowa Private College Week, Simpson College and the 28 other private colleges participating will offer tours and free information sessions on financial aid twice daily at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. During the sessions, visitors can meet current students and faculty, and learn about academic programs.
