Chris Waddle, Simpson College chaplain and native of Mississippi, organized a group of students to travel to Mississippi over the college’s fall break Oct. 27-Oct. 30 to help with clean up following Hurricane Katrina. The volunteers include, seated from left, Katy Siddall, Philip Goss and Bobby Nalean. Not pictured are Asche Rider, Kendra Frush and Suzanne Barrett.  The 12 students will stay at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Gulfport and focus their energies on the area surrounding Wiggins, Mississippi, 30 miles north of Gulfport.
