Husband and wife lecturers to look at Ripper, Dickens' London

Author and former London police officer Donald Rumbelow will deliver the lecture “Yours Truly, Jack the Ripper” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31 in Lekberg Hall of the Amy Robertson Music Center.

His wife, Molly Rumbelow, will deliver a lecture on Charles Dickens’ London at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2 in Camp Lounge of the Brenton Student Center.

Donald Rumbelow is the former chairman of the British Crime Writers Association, and has written books on the history of police and crime in London from the Elizabethan to Victorian times as well as “The Complete Jack the Ripper.” Molly Rumbelow has lived and worked in London for most of her life, lecturing on 18th and 19th century London history, including life in London during the time of Charles Dickens.
