Visit Simpson College in Indianola on Nov. 11 and 13 for a weekend of musical events.

The Simpson College music faculty and students of the department will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11 in Lekberg Hall at the Amy Robertson Music Center on the college’s Indianola campus. Faculty will give solo performances and the Madrigal Singers and Jazz Ensemble will also perform. Held in conjunction with the fall music weekend and auditions for perspective students, the concert is open to the public.

The Simpson College Choir and Chorale will present “I Hear America Singing” under the direction of Timothy A. McMillin at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13 in Smith Chapel on the Indianola campus. The performance will include a selection of works of American composers and poets.
