“Real People, Real Time: A Search for Truth in America” multimedia art exhibit is now open through March 31 in Farnham Galleries.
Featuring the works of artists throughout the country, the exhibit addresses the condition of mass media in American and the impact that media conglomerates have on political and social awareness or lack of awareness. With much of the news in America generated by only a handful of sources, artists feel the need to express their concern, and this exhibit is designed to raise awareness of the issues facing American media.
A closing reception will be held at 6 p.m. on March 23 in Farnham Galleries located in Mary Berry Hall. “Real People, Real Time: A Search for Truth in America” is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or by appointment. For more information, call (515) 961-1761.
