The Simpson College Madrigal Singers will appear in concert at 7 p.m. April 9 in Great Hall.

Under the direction of Robert L. Larsen, the group will perform motets and madrigals from the 16th century with additional pieces from the 20th century. In addition, the Madrigal Singers will perform the premier of a piece written by composer Benjamin Brittan based on the poetry of Jesuit monk Gerard Manly Hopkins.
