Final round of Battle of the Books to be moderated by Simpson students

Simpson College will host the finals of the Battle of the Books from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on April 11 in the Carver Science Center.

The quiz bowl event will feature the remaining six teams of sixth- through eighth-graders. The remaining teams, which consist of home-instructed students as well as students from Des Moines, West Des Moines and Marshalltown, will be moderated by Simpson College Education Club students. The battle began in March with the teams reading 40 books and answering a series of questions on the books. For more information, call (515) 961-1600.
