Fall/Spring Break Trips

Fall Break 2008 - October 15 - 19,  Twin Cities, Minnesota
Looking for a way to get off campus and serve other people? We sponsor a fall break trip to Minnesota every year that allows students to experience the culture of inner city Minneapolis. We complete a variety of service projects, including filling food packages, judging a cookie contest at a nursing home, landscaping for affordable housing units, and playing with children at a homeless shelter. We also are exposed to the diversity of Minneapolis culture as we are treated to a different ethnic dinner every night, visit the art gallery, tour the city, and walk around the waterfalls at Minnehaha Park. The trip costs only $25, so get your application completed early!
Contact Jim Hayes (ext. 1281 or jim.hayes@simpson.edu) for more information.
