  • EBSCOHOST - Search multiple databases (together or separately) to access full-text periodicals, newspapers and reference tools. Academic Search Premier and Business Search Premier index peer-reviewed scholarly journals in a variety of subject areas. Other databases focus on specific areas such as health and education.
  • LexisNexis ACADEMIC - Comprehensive research database providing full-text access to various databases, including current news, business information, Hoover’s company records, company directories, federal and state laws, legal cases, medical and references.
  • PSYCINFO/PSYCARTICLES - From the APA, the source for applied psychology, developmental psychology, and personality. PsycINFO is an index, while PsycARTICLES is full-text. Search Linked Full Text to search entire EBSCOhost database.
  • ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA ONLINE - More than 72,000 encyclopedia articles on all subjects.

  • West's Encyclopedia of American Law (R348.73 W538) - A 12-vol. set with brief non-technical articles on all legal topics.
  • Encyclopedia of Crime and Punishment (364.03 E57 2002) - A 4-vol. set with topical articles and references.
  • Encyclopedia of law enforcement (363.2 E56s 2005) - A 3-vol. set with articles related to law enforcement.
  • Statistical Abstract of the U. S. (R317.3 U58s) - Includes crime and corrections statistics.
  • World Almanac (317 W92) - Includes crime and corrections statistics.
