- LIBRARY CATALOG - To search for books on a particular topic, use a Subject or a Keyword Search. To search for books at other libraries use the links on the BOOKS & BOOK REVIEWS web page.
- ARTstor - Digital library with over 400,000 images covering art, architecture and archeology with descriptive information as well as software tools to support research uses. Initial acquisition and first year access provided by a gift from Leroy and Mary Joyce [Baker] Pickett, class of 1962.
- EBSCOHOST - Search multiple databases (together or separately) to access full-text periodicals, newspapers and reference tools. Academic Search Premier and Business Search Premier index peer-reviewed scholarly journals in a variety of subject areas. Other databases focus on specific areas such as health and education.
- JSTOR - Arts & Sciences I, II & III Collections include the complete back runs of 394 core journals in many disciplines, including economics, history, political science, and sociology, as well as in other key fields in the humanities and social sciences. Includes a selection of titles in the fields of archaeology, arts, classics, cultural studies, ecology, literature, mathematics, and statistics.
- CAMPUS RESEARCH - Comprehensive research database includes full-text information and access to both current and archived materials, including thousands of news databases and newswires as well as business, trade and professional journals and publications; superior law-related resources.
- LITERATURE RESOURCE CENTER- Access biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of more than 120,000 authors from every age and literary discipline.
- MLA--Modern Language Association- International in scope, it is the premiere tool for researchers in the humanities, particularly in literature, language, and linguistics, providing more than 1.6 million bibliographic citations from 1963 to the present.
- ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA ONLINE - More than 72,000 encyclopedia articles on all subjects.

- Dictionary of Art (703 D554) - Comprehensive 34-volume encyclopedia covers all art topics. Located by the Encyclopedias.
- Dictionary of Women Artists (709.2 D55g) - Comprehensive 2-volume set covering women artists from the Middle Ages until today.
- Encyclopedia of World Art (703 E56) - An older, but still useful, 27-volume encyclopedia, also on all art topics.
- Guide to the literature of art history 2 (709 A76gu 2004) - Bibliography of art history literature.
- Modern Arts Criticism (709.22 M689) - Three volume set featuring biographical and critical information to artists from modern era to present.
- Prestel Dictionary of Art and Artists in the 20th Century (709.22 P936 2000) - Authoritative guide to 20th century art and artists. Brief descriptions of modern art trends.
