Co-Curricular Transcript

What is the Co-Curricular Transcript?

The co-curricular transcript is a student-reported document that lists activities the student has participated in while at Simpson College.  It should be used in conjunction with an academic transcript in order to provide potential employers and/or graduate schools with an official endorsement of the student’s involvement on campus.

While students understand their academic performance at Simpson College affects their opportunities after college, employers and graduate schools often additionally request documentation showing that the student was well-rounded and participated in student organizations, community service, etc.

Improve your marketability by including a Co-Curricular Transcript along with your resume to potential employers and/or graduate schools.

How do I start a Co-Curricular Transcript?

Interested students can obtain an activity update form in the Student Development office, lower level, BSC.

When should I start my transcript?

It is in your best interest to start one as soon as you come to Simpson College.  This way you can easily update the information as your involvement increases on campus.

How often should I turn in activity update forms?

In order to keep your records as up to date as possible, you should submit an update form upon completion of the activity.  If your activities include ongoing memberships in organizations, you can update whenever your status in the organization changes or you take on a leadership position.

How do I obtain a copy of my Co-Curricular Transcript?

For more information on how you can get your Co-Curricular Transcript can be obtained by emailing Rich Ramos, ramos@simpson.edu.
