To allow SmartEnforcer Access:

1.  Open the McAfee Control Center or the McAfee Personal Firewall.  If you have the Control Center, choose the Personal Firewall tab on the left of the window.  In the current window click on Internet Applications.

Your screen should look similar to this.

2.  Scroll the list of applications and look for SmartEnforcer. If it is in the list, highlight it and click Allow Full Access in the Change Permission To box.  If SmartEnforcer is not in the list of applications, click New Allowed Application which is below the list of applications.

3.  Browse for the application.  C:\programfiles\perfigo\smartenforcer\
smartenforcer.exe is the path.  Make sure to select the Smartenforcer.exe and click Open.

4.  Select Allow Full Access and you should now be correctly configured.
