Simpson College, a private, nationally recognized regional college grounded in the liberal arts tradition and affiliated with the United Methodist Church, invites applications for a tenure-track position of assistant/associate professor in Experimental Psychology. Responsibilities include fostering undergraduate research, teaching courses in biopsychology, animal behavior, learning, and area of specialty, as well as teaching general courses such as introduction to psychology, statistics, and research methods. Candidates for the position must demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching and a willingness to engage students in research. In addition to courses in the department, all faculty are encouraged to participate in the college's first-year and college-wide senior colloquium programs.
