Phi Alpha Theta is the history honors society.
Internships
Recent history majors have held internships at the Smithsonian, the White House, Living History Farms, Iowa Air National Guard, Capitol Hill, Iowa State Attorney General’s Office, Warren County Prosecutor and the National Democratic Party.
Politics
Many history majors opt to double major in political science. Even those who do not often involve themselves in politics, especially during caucus time. During the recent national election history majors worked on a variety of campaigns for both parties.
