Student Health Insurance

  • Simpson College requires all full-time students to provide proof of health insurance.
  • The proof of insurance requirement is fulfilled by completing an on-line enroll/waiver process at one of the following sites:

Late Enrollment: To qualify for late enrollment the student or dependent must submit an enrollment form and premium payment no later than 30 days after the qualifying event of involuntary loss of coverage under another health plan, marriage, or the birth/adoption of child. Contact SAS(Student Assurance Services, Inc.) for enrollment information and partial year rates.

  • All students should have proof of insurance on their person to access medical care.
  • Student Athletes must complete both the online waiver AND submit a completed copy of the Simpson Athletic Insurance form to athletic training. The paper form can be accessed at http://www.simpsonathletics.com/information/athletictraining/files/insuranceforms2011.pdf .
  • For questions regarding plan coverage please contact an SAS representative though their website or at the following SAS Assistance Line:1-800-328-2739. Students may also contact the Office of Student Development: 515-961-1592.
