"Celebrating another Year in our History of Giving"

Please join your Simpson Guild friends in Celebrating another Year in our History of Giving at a wine tasting event.  After a brief meeting, we will sample the finest wines paired with a variety of hors d'oeuvres presented by AJ from the Indianola Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits Department.

  The cost is $5 per person and advanced reservations are required no later than Thursday, September 22nd, 2011 . To reserve your spot and arrange payment, please contact one of the following members:

Come join the holiday festivities of the Annual Elves Auction and see how auction items donated by Guild members and friends help us continue our “History of Giving” in the monies we are able to give back to students and College departments at the end of the Guild year.  You'll enjoy special treats provided by Chartwells catering and go home in the spirit of the up-coming holidays.


Holiday Tour of Homes

Enjoy being part of the successful traditional Tour of Homes, co-sponsored by the Indianola Chamber of Commerce and Simpson Guild.  Visit several Indianola homes freshly decorated for the holiday season. Tickets will be available in advance from Guild members and you may also see Guild members serving as hostesses in some of the homes featured on the tour.  Friday evening the "Taste of Indianola" will showcase local restaurants and caterers at the St. Thomas Aquinas Pastoral Center from 8-10pm. Come see how you can help!

Simpson encourages students to make the world their classroom! Internships and travel abroad provide students the opportunity to learn skills in an exciting yet practical setting. Simpson is even listed as one of the top 100 colleges in the nation by US News and World Report, for the highest percentage of students traveling abroad.

Our program will be presented by Jay Wilkinson, Simpson International Program Coordinator. Jay will present to us an overview of the International Program and the International Courses that will be offered for the May Term 2012. We will also be honored to have a few Simpson students share their international experience with us.

Celebrate the arrival of spring with a Simpson Guild spring tradition at this year’s brunch and style show. It’s a fitting finale to another successful year. Bring your friends and enjoy a delicious brunch while viewing current spring and summer fashions, jewelry, and accessories. Seating is limited so please get your tickets early.
