Recruitment

Register online for recruitment here.  Deadline to register is September 12th.

To all new students:

On behalf of every fraternity member at Simpson College, we welcome and congratulate you on choosing our outstanding college. Simpson College Greek Life has strong tradition, a high standard of excellence, and superb character.

Fraternities at Simpson College have been enhancing the lives of men for over one hundred years. Finding your place can sometimes be difficult, however, with the help of a fraternity it becomes quite easy. Being involved up campus is just as important as being involved in your fraternity.

We strongly encourage you to read our web site and see what we have to offer.

Take time and see what fraternity fits you best.

We can't think of any other organization on campus that provides you with the opportunity to have fun, be a part of a national community, commit yourself to excellence, and create amazing relationships as much as our Greek community.

Best Regards,

Mauricio Marquez and Drew Riebhoff
Interfraternity Council
Vice Presidents of Recruitment

Fraternity Recruitment will be held on September 16, 17 and 18, 2008

What should you expect from Fraternity Recruitment?

  • Great times, good food, and the opportunity to meet some of the best men on Simpson's campus.
  • Each night will be a casual time to visit each fraternity chapter, get to know the men more, and decide if one of the chapters could be a fit for you.
  • You will learn about each fraternity's values and how those ideals play out in members' Simpson experience.
  • Whether you pledge a fraternity or not, you will meet lots of fraternity men and other potential members.  It is a great way to meet people and make campus feel more like home.
  • You will be in a group with other potential members.  Your group will have a current fraternity man as a guide, known as a Recruitment Counselor (RecCo).
  • Your RecCo will be able to answer any questions you may have about fraternity life at Simpson.  He will help you make the best decision for yourself in an unbiased way.

Look for more information coming your way this summer about fraternity rush and the opportunities each fraternity chapter can provide you.  In the meantime, visit the chapters link to find out more information about each fraternity.  If you have questions about Fraternity Recruitment please contact an IFC Vice President of Recruitment, Mauricio Marquez, mauricio.marquez@simpson.edu or Drew Riebhoff, andrew.riebhoff@simpson.edu.
