Summer Orientation
June 9, 10, 13 & 14, 2011
Summer Orientation is a one-day event where new first-year Simpson students have the opportunity to discover their new campus community! You'll register for your fall courses with your First-Year Seminar faculty instruct
or (who is also your first-year advisor), check out the resources and services available for you as a Simpson student, and receive a lot of information that will help your first year be a success.
We encourage parents and family members to accompany their new Simpson student to summer orientation, and have an orientation schedule specifically for parents and family!

One of the most of important parts of orientation is the advising and registration process. While you'll be involved in group and individual advising sessions during your orientation day, it's always helpful to have an idea of what particular courses you might be interested in and/or what courses you'll want to take, especially if you have a particular academic major in mind.
