Meet Your Destination Leader
Brad Davison
Hey, my name is Brad Davison and I will be your destination leader for Management 101. So a little about myself, I am going to be a sophomore at Simpson next year and I am planning on double majoring in Business Management and Spanish, but I haven’t declared these majors so they are still up in the air.
I am from the east side of Des Moines and I went to East high school. In high school I took several woodshop classes and I fell in love with the trade, I decided then that woodworking is something I would really like to pursue after college. I am currently working for a Business Management degree so after college I will be able to open my own woodworking shop and be my own boss. And I’m not really sure how a Spanish major will apply to this dream of mine, but I just really enjoy the language so I continue to take classes.
At Simpson I am currently very active in our religious life activities, which I would strongly encourage all of you to look into (they have been a life changing activity for me). And if any of you are worried about or looking for a church or bible study to attend, please ask me because I would love to help, as Hebrews 13:16 says “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God”.
This past fall I played football for the storm, but I’ve decided next year that I will focus more on my school and leave my football days behind. Through Simpson I have been able to do a variety of volunteer activities on campus, in Des Moines, and in Texas; I would encourage you with a passion to participate in some kind of volunteer opportunity at Simpson. I am excited to meet and to get to know all of you, and I hope that you won’t be afraid to come to me for any help or reassurance because I would like to lend you a hand.
