These 20 minute sessions provide a concrete idea you can easily implement in your own classes. Sessions are offered from 12:25-12:45 in the Cowles Classroom 2.

Faculty Hour
Because many faculty development topics cannot be adequately discussed in a 20-minute format, these sessions last an hour. Each session will be offered twice: once in the late afternoon (3:30 – 4:30 p.m. in Indianola) and once in the evening (6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in WDM).

Grant/Conference Funding
Embedded Skills conference funding (funds distributed first come-first serve basis)
To enhance the teaching of embedded skills, the Faculty Development Committee has set aside a limited amount of money for faculty to attend conferences, workshops, or webinars scheduled between May 2011 and August 2012. Faculty who utilize these funds will be asked to share what they learned with the rest of the college community.
