Master of Arts in Criminal Justice (MACJ)
The Simpson College Master of Arts in Criminal Justice (MACJ) is an evening program designed for working criminal justice professionals who want to advance their career. This program can be completed in 2.5 years while working full-time. A faster pace is possible. The program is affordable and loan support is available. Most courses are taught by our faculty in 8-week terms with an online component, enhancing flexibility and convenience.

Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) and Transition-to-Teaching
Simpson College offers both the Transition to Teaching for initial licensure and the Master of Arts in Teaching program (MAT). Both programs are intended for individuals changing careers in order to pursue secondary licensure in the endorsement areas of business, world language, language arts, math, natural sciences, social studies and social sciences. It is not applicable for those with an undergraduate degree in education.
In the Transition to Teaching program you may earn at least thirty-eight (38) graduate credits and secondary teaching licensure.
Successful completion of the MAT program results in at least forty-two (42) graduate credits, licensure and a master's degree.
