David Wolf, Associate Professor of English, teaches courses in creative writing, composition, contemporary literature and literary theory. He is the author of three collections of poetry, Sablier, Open Season and The Moment Forever . His work has appeared in The Hampden-Sydney Poetry Review, Hiram Poetry Review, New York Quarterly, Poet & Critic, River Styx Magazine and numerous other literary magazines and journals. He was educated at the University of Iowa and the University of Michigan, where he earned an M.F.A. in creative writing. Wolf has taught writing and literature at the University of Michigan, Drake University and Iowa State University. He was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa and has lived in Oxford, UK and in New York, NY, where he worked for several years in magazine publishing. Wolf also plays guitar and keyboards for The Sonny Humbucker Band.
