Information on Education Portfolios

The education department will be transitioning from paper-based competency portfolios to digital ePortfolios organized and presented using the Chalk and Wire system.  ePortfoios will be required of education candidates entering the program after the Spring 2008 semester.

This page presents information for both the original competency notebook portfolio method and the ePortfolio method.

Current Portfolio Model

For those required to complete the traditional, paper-in-binder competency portfolio (began education courses during or before Spring 2008)

The most current versions of forms and coversheets related to the traditional portfolio (paper, binder) are found here.

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions about the competency portfolio.
