WHAT NEEDS TO BE INCLUDED IN A PORTFOLIO?

 

Each time you submit your portfolio for review, you need to complete and include a Portfolio Review Checklist and a Self-Assessment of Competency Portfolio Progress.

 

For Competencies 1-9, you will eventually need one or more artifact(s) and reflection sheet(s) for each indicator. In some cases, depending on the artifact and the indicator, more than one artifact per indicator may be necessary to sufficiently demonstrate competence.

 

Competencies 10 and 11 will be assessed, by the instructor, in every education class. Students will be notified if there is a concern. During student teaching, your mentoring teacher and supervisor will also assess you in terms of competencies 10 and 11.  You are required to submit one artifact/reflection for Competency 10 and one artifact/reflection for Competency 11.
