Adults who have earned a high school diploma or its equivalent may enroll in Simpson classes as a part-time student. No application or entrance exam is required to register as a part-time, non-degree student.

Individuals not seeking degree credits, but interested in taking a course for personal enrichment, may choose to audit the course. Students auditing a class do not take tests or turn in homework. Audit hours are recorded on the student's official college transcript, but no credit hours or grades are recorded.

Students should register at least one week prior to the start of class. A registration confirmation will be sent prior to the start of class with information about tuition payment, textbooks, and class location.
