"Adult students are tremendously motivated and interesting. They look at life differently from traditional students and I enjoy teaching them. It's neat to be a part of a situation to help make things better for them."

The Simpson College Adult Learning faculty is a distinguished group. Simpson adult students say that instructional effectiveness is the No. 1 reason to choose Simpson College. Adult students at Simpson are significantly more satisfied with their academic quality than the national benchmark for adult students at 4-year colleges. Our faculty is composed of a mix of full-time instructors and professionals chosen from the community who combine real-world experience with a high level of academic preparation. Our Lecturers teach part-time and have compiled a record of exemplary teaching over a significant period and have earned the honor of this title.  The adult student honorary society Alpha Sigma Lambda conducts a ballot each year to award to a faculty member the Excellence in Adult Education honor.
