Simpson College evening FASTrack and Saturday FASTrack are great options for adults who want to complete a degree and advance their career. Over 300 classes per year are held on our three campuses in Ankeny, Indianola and West Des Moines.  We have bachelor degree programs in management, marketing, accounting, communication, computer science/IS, criminal justice, and English. We have graduate programs in education and criminal justice. Graduate and undergraduate certificate programs in accounting, education, computer science are also available.  

The professors are all actively involved in the topic or subject they’re teaching, ... my law professor was a Polk county prosecutor . . . you have people who bring real world experience to the classroom . . .

Faculty work to bring your experience into the classroom. Small classes allow you to get to know the other adult students and connect your class work with the rest of your life.

Go fast or take your time, it's up to you!

• FASTrack classes which consist of three ten-week modules, meeting once or twice a week. Students may enroll in 1-3 classes per ten-week module.
• Evening classes offered one or two evenings per week for a 15-week semester (computer science and mathematics).
• Saturday FASTrack classes which meet every other Saturday morning during the semester and incorporate the best of face-to-face learning with online learning.

In addition, Simpson College offers adult learners a number of programs and services to complement their education:

• Consideration of credit for life experience.
• Career advancement and placement services.
• Certificate programs for those individuals who have earned a bachelor's degree and wish to continue their education for the purpose of acquiring skills and knowledge necessary to obtain employment or to advance in their careers.
