Rhetoric and Speech Communication - 36 Hours

The rhetoric and speech major is designed to familiarize students with human communication. This focus prepares the student for a variety of careers, including education, graduate school, law, government and social and human services. In combination with Corporate Communication courses, it can assist students seeking to enter the business world. In combination with the Journalism and Mass Communication major, it can assist students seeking to enter the world of mediated communication, both as producers and consumers.

Policy on Major-Minor Combinations
Consistent with the goals of a liberal education, students at Simpson College may not select more than one major in Communication Studies, nor may they select a major-minor combination in Communication Studies.
