A vital part of the Communication Studies program is getting hands-on experience outside the classroom. There are a number of ways to get involved in student media at Simpson.
- The Simpsonian - Be a part of the nation's oldest continuously published student newspaper.
- PRSSA - Get involved with Simpson's chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America.
- The Zenith - Help create memories through Simpson's annual yearbook.
- KSTM - Get on the air with Simpson's student-run radio station.
Another key part of preparing for a career in the media is internships. Simpson's location just 12 miles south of Des Moines makes a wide range of internship opportunities available to our students. See where past students have interned and learn more about how to get credit for your internship.
One more way Communication Studies students get hands-on experience is through travel and study in our domestic and abroad travel programs. See where past groups have traveled to.
