The Department of Chemistry and Physics offers several majors associated with the chemistry and physics disciplines. The requirements of these majors allow students the flexibility to shape the major to reflect their individual interests.  Project based labs, undergraduate research projects and seminar classes give students a firsthand appreciation of chemistry and physics as experimental sciences.  Each major is intended to prepare students for advanced study in chemistry or physics related fields, for teaching high school chemistry or physics, for a career in private industrial or government research laboratories, or any career involving problem solving and analysis.
