RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research interests are in the areas of chemical kinetics and environmental analytical chemistry. I am interested in the methods of analyzing water samples for the environmental assessment of bodies of water. One aspect of my most recent work has been the analysis of algae containing water samples for chlorophyll-a. This work was done while on sabbatical at the Kansas Biological Survey. I will be broadening my expertise in the area on environmental analysis at the limnology lab at Iowa State University during the Spring 2005 semester.
