Marketing Intern: (Firestone Agricultural Tire) Location: Des Moines, IA. The main focus would be assisting with Firestone Ag's dealer database. This person would clean our current Certified Dealer database by designing a communication plan to communicate our current information to our dealers. Intern may also work on our data book project which includes both the website and printed version. 32-40 hours/week. $7.50-$12.50/hour. Communications Internships: The following internships are for the Governor's Office.
- Communications Internships: You will assist the Comm. Dept. in disseminating news from the Governor's office. Tasks: writing press releases and advisories, organizing and preifing the Governor, Lt. Governor, and First Lady for press conferences, updating and maintaining press lists, pitching press events, and more.
- Outreach Internships: You will assist in marketing the Governor's message and policy. Tasks: direct contact with nonprofit groups, businesses and state agencies; creation of newsletters and targeted articles; visits with strategic outreach groups.
- Administrative Office Internships: You will assist the Correspondence Coordinator and the Judicial Appointments Coordinator, as well as assist with administrative support when needed. You will assist in copying, filing, data entry, and answering the phone and mail.

Iowa Office of Energy Independence Intern: (Governer's Office) Interns will have the opportunity to experience the inner workings of a state agency. Interns will do a variety of tasks such as conducting internet research, developing presentations, and managing Power Fund grant applications. Internships are available for summer, fall, and spring. Policy Internships: You will assist the Policy Division on issue tracking and policy development. Tasks: policy research and analysis, policy correspondence, outreach work with interest groups, bill tracking, issuetracking with state departments and policy development.
Legal Internships: You will assist the Legal Department via: clemency work (restoration of right to vote, firearms rights, pardons and commutations); extradition processing; fesponding to correspondence; and legal research. Students applying should be enrolled in law school or an undergraduate interested in attending law school.
