Type Focus

This program assesses personality type and generates five customized reports, which help people understand themselves better so they can choose more effective career strategies.  Each user sets up his/her own username and password, which guarantees confidentiality.

TypeFocus Instructions

1.      Go to http://careers.typefocus.com  or click on the icon above. 

2.      Click on “New users: Click to register” link and continue to Registration Page

3.      The site password that you will need is SC788

4.      Create your own username and password. 

First Year Students:  When you create your username use fy in front of the username you select.  Example: fysimpsonstudent.  This will allow us to search for first year students in the system. 

     We suggest using your Simpson username and a password that will be easy for you to remember.  You will need to complete ALL fields of the registration. 

5.      When registration is complete, click agree and continue. 

6.      Now that you have registered click on “Click Here to Start”

7.      Once you are in the homepage of TypeFocus you will need to complete BOTH the “Personality Questionnaire” and the “Success Factors Questionnaire” This should take about 15-30 minutes.
