- All businesses on the town square are listed in the directory at no cost
- Businesses have the option of purchasing a page for $70 a year
- Updates to the web page can be requested for $10/update or $50/year for unlimited updates

2007 Ethics Bowl
- SCSIFE conveyed the importance of ethics in all academic disciplines by holding a campus-wide Ethics Bowl
- This two day event that consisted of a preliminary, tournament-style round on day one and a four-team final round on day two
- 14 of 18 departments were represented by 3-4 students
- Over 80 students participated in the event
- Questions were prepared by SCSIFE members and college faculty
- Over 115 students, faculty, and community members attended the Ethics Bowl Finals
- Follow up meetings after the event were held and feedback from students and faculty was gathered to increase the success of next year's event

Job Readiness Fair
- SCSIFE filled a need in the community by developing an event to equip underprivileged youth with the skills needed to obtain a first job
- We partnered with Drake University SIFE to hold the event on their campus in order to reach our target market
- SCSIFE developed curriculum in order to educate participants about the different steps involved in job-seeking
- Mock interviewing, resume critiquing, financial and saving advice, and a min-job fair were all part of this event as well

Finance your Future
- SCSIFE held the first annual Finance Your Future booth at the Simpson College Career Fair
- We took advantage of an already engaged audience to educate our fellow students about how to manager their assets once they attained a job
- Topics included managing credit, understanding loans, investment options and identity theft
- SCSIFE compiled curriculum for the vent and other educational information was provided by Iowa Student Loan
- Over 65 students stopped by and participated in Finance Your Future

Business Horizons
- SCSIFE was approached by Business Horizons, a business summer camp, to develop curriculum to educate their participants about Iowa's presence in the international business arena
- We developed Iowa: Destination Globalization, a game that educated players about the various global businesses in each of Iowa's counties, while also teaching players about the effect of tax increases, the stock market and other economic factors on businesses
- The leadership of Business Horizons is very enthusiastic about the game and plans on using it at the Business Horizons camp in the summer and also with a group of Iowa teachers

Dickens of a Christmas
- SCSIFE took over the planning, coordination and implementation of this 13-year Indianola tradition after the Chamber of Commerce wasn't able to do so
- The event attracted over 2,000 people on one night to the town's square's shops and businesses
- SCSIFE provided funding and resources for non-profit organizations to sell their goods at the event for fundraising or charity
- SCSIFE member and project manager, Hailey Johnson, was named United Way Volunteer of the Month for her efforts in coordinating Dickens
- SCSIFE was name Indianola Youth Volunteer of the Year for the work on Dickens

Strides Toward Long-Term Sustainability
- Record participation in SCSIFE for 2006-07 with 34 members
- Record number of freshmen members
- Project binders were implemented so that tips and instructions can be passed on to future members
- The executive board was restructured so that leadership positions are held by all grade levels
- One academic credit is given to each SCSIFE member for each semester of participation
