Straining stream for creatures

The biology department is housed in Carver Science Hall. We have state of the art equipment for both molecular and organismal studies. We also spend a lot of time in the field, studying organisms in their natural environment.

The Developmental Biology Student Research Laboratory (Carver Science Building room 139) is equipped with state of the art embryo culture and manipulation devices, Olympus stereo and fluorescence research microscopes and image capture and analysis systems featuring QICAM digital video cameras Image Pro software, and supporting computers.
