Jenna DeDecker's is an illustration for an article found in Utne magazine titled, The New Trophy Wife. The article suggests that today's idea of a "trophy wife" is not like the "trophy wife" of the past that held beauty as the primary criteria. Instead a prized wife today is one who is educated, is on a steady career path and has a very healthy income.

Laura Hersom's illustration was created to accompany an article about an electronic bunny device called Nabaztag. The Nabaztag, an instant hit in France, will wake you up in the morning with music, read your e-mails to you, report the day's weather and much more.

Nicole Anderson's article, Indianola Hy-Vee Gas Sells Winning Hot Lotto Ticket, was found in the Simpsonian. The article is about a lottery winning in Indianola that hadn't been claimed. Nicole's illustration presents a possible scenario in which the baby has eaten the winning ticket.
