2005 Alumni Award winners
At Simpson College, Alumni Awards are given out at Alumni Weekend each year in June. This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the work of our alums after graduation, whether it is dedication to Simpson College, a significant achievement in their career or a dedication to those in need. Our alumni awards include the Alumni Achievement Award, Alumni Loyalty Award, Recent Alumni Acheivement Award, Recent Alumni Loyalty Award and Humanitarian Service Award.

Alumni Achievement Award
The Alumni Achievement Award recognizes outstanding career achievement, service to the community and service to Simpson.

Alumni Loyalty Award
Outstanding service to Simpson College.

Recent Alumni Achievement Award
Outstanding career achievement and/or service to community. Class year not to exceed ten years from the year the award is given.

Recent Alumni Loyalty Award
Outstanding service to Simpson College. Class year not to exceed ten years for the year the award is given.

Humanitarian Service Award
This award recognizes outstanding achievement, with emphasis on service to humanity on a broader scale than community service.

Athletic Award

The athletic awards are given out at the Hall of Fame brunch that takes place on the Saturday during Homecoming. If you know of someone that should be recognized for their work, please let us know by filling out the Athletic Award nomination form.

Hall of Fame
Membership in the Hall of Fame is for individuals who have lettered in a varsity sport at Simpson College, have outstanding athletic and academic backgrounds, and have been successful citizens since their college years.

Double S Award
The Double S Award is presented by the Simpson College Gold Club, recognizes those former athletes at Simpson who have been successful in their careers, volunteer activities or hobbies. The recipients must be graduates of Simpson who were awarded athletic letters during their college careers.

Dick Buxton Award
This award, presented by the Gold Club, is given in memory of Dick Buxton, the Gold Club's first president and avid supporter of Simpson athletics. The recipient is a member of the community who has willingly given of his/her time and effort in support of athletics at Simpson College.

Coaches' Hall of Fame
This award is given to former outstanding Simpson College coaches who have made significant contributions to the college, their sport and, more importantly, to the students of Simpson College.
