Alumni College is a great way to learn something intriguing and new.  From ghosts to geocaching, you may view a complete list of classes on Friday and Saturday.

Start your Friday off right with a continental breakfast in Dirlam Lounge located in Smith Chapel between 7:30-10 a.m.  Sponsored by our friends from Wesley- The Village.

The Simpson Golf Clinic will help you improve that swing with clinics for driving, chipping and putting.  Buckets of balls will be 1/2 price during the 8:30-10:30 a.m. Friday session.  Meet under the Red & Gold tent at Deer Run Golf Club located at 2305 W. 2nd Avenue.

We will honor some of our finest at the annual Alumni Recognition Luncheon on Friday at 11 a.m. in Great Hall.  Join us as we recognize: Alumni Achievement Award recipients Sam "Chic" Born '67 and John Norris, Jr. '81; Alumni Loyalty Award recipient Debra Moore '81; Humanitarian Award recipient Dorothy Hodges Kennett '59; Recent Alumni Achievement Award recipient Andy Priestly '00 and Recent Alumni Loyalty Award recipient Dan Saar '05.

We will also induct the Class of 1959 into the Half Century Club at the luncheon as the gavel is officially passed from the Class of 1958 to the Class of 1959.

It will be a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start on Friday for the Simpson Cup golf tournament.  The registration fee includes green fees, a cart, vouchers for food, a great giveaway and a ticket to the Presidents' Picnic.  Check in at the Red & Gold tent at Deer Run Golf Club located at 2305 W. 2nd Avenue.

The coolest place will be Farnham Galleries of Mary Berry Hall where The Paintpushers' thirteen local artists will exhibit their works d'art.  Join us Friday from 4-5 p.m. for an artists reception and some delectable treats.

The Presidents' Picnic on Friday night is an annual favorite for alumni and friends of all eras and a can't-miss event.  We'll gather on the patio of Brenton Student Center beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Bring your appetite and settle in for a casual summer evening with friends.  A cash bar will be available.  (Rain site will be inside BSC.)

Saturday begins at 8 a.m. with the All-Alumni Breakfast in the Matthew Simpson Room of College Hall where the president will give his annual State of the College address.  All alumni will vote on the slate of our newest alumni board of directors members.

Learn how to Geocache and try it out for yourself!  Described as the world's largest treasure hunt; 800,000 caches are hidden all over the world.  Participants use Global Positioning Systems (GPS) or other navigation to find these treasures.  On Saturday morning, we'll learn and then try it out for ourselves as we search for the cache hidden on our own campus.  Registrants are asked to sign up for both Sessions V & VI on Saturday morning.
