Thursday, July 10, 2008 - Indianapolis Red and Gold Reception at 6:30 pm

The Red and Gold Reception will RACE to Indianapolis for the next alumni gathering. All area alumni and friends are invited to join us for a wonderful evening of networking and reminiscing. Bob Lane '81, vice president of advancement, will share the latest news from campus. The evening will include dinner, soft drinks and dessert at Cafe Nora located at 1300 East 86th Street in Indianapolis (Ph: 317-571-1000). A cash bar will also be available. To register please contact the office of alumni relations by July 3rd at (800) 610-6369 or alumni.office@simpson.edu. Cost: $25 per person.

Saturday, July 12, 2008 - Iowa Barnstormers Game at 7:05 pm

Join us as the excitement of arena football returns to Des Moines! Watch Simpson alum, Dusty Kain '06 and the Iowa Barnstormers take on the Quad City Steamwheelers at Wells Fargo Arena. Simpson's former All-American, Dusty, recently joined the Barnstormers as a wide receiver.

Discounted tickets are available to Simpson alumni and friends and start at just $10. A free Barnstormers Official Tailgate Party begins at 4 pm for all fans and will be located in the parking lot directly north of Vets Auditorium. A Kids Zone area will be available and live music starts at 4:30. Food and drink will be for sale. To order your tickets, contact Aaron Roland '07 at 515-633-2255 and mention that you are with Simpson College.

All alumni and friends are invited to join us at this casual, come and go as you please event as we send off our new and current Twin Cities students in style. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students and their families to glimpse the larger Simpson family who is ready and willing to support their Simpson Experience. We will gather at Houlihan's Restaurant located at 6601 Lyndale Avenue South in Richfield, Minnesota. Hosted by the offices of admissions and office of alumni relations.
